Biography
Caroline Fludyer (1794–1824) was a young woman of the Regency era whose brief life was nonetheless part of the social fabric of her time. She lived during a period of cultural refinement and social development in England, her years marked by the customs and expectations of her class and era.
Though her life was cut short at the age of 30, Caroline left her mark on those who knew her. She was laid to rest at the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Belton, where her grave commemorates her memory and her place in the community of her birth and residence.
