Caroline Miskel-Hoyt, born in 1873, dazzled audiences with her expressive stage presence and graceful comedic timing, quickly rising to prominence in the theatrical circles of her day. Though her career and life were brief, her influence persisted through the many actors and patrons she inspired; friends recall her as fiercely generous and devoted to her craft.
