Catherine Dashwood

Catherine Dashwood, born in 1745, was a valued presence at the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Fawsley, where her warm hospitality and faithful example supported the families of the parish.

She encouraged charitable visits, oversaw comforts for the sick, and offered steady counsel; her gentle influence is remembered for knitting together the community until her passing in 1809.
