Cecil Clay

Biography

Cecil Clay was a Union officer who earned the Medal of Honor for his valor, often placing himself at great risk to protect his regiment and its colors during fierce engagements.

He remained connected to veterans' circles afterwards, and Arlington National Cemetery now keeps the place where admirers remember the courageous soldier and devoted comrade.
