Biography

Cevat Rıfat Atilhan (1892–1967) was a notable Turkish writer whose literary works contributed to Turkish cultural and intellectual life. His writing reflected both artistic sensibility and engagement with the intellectual currents of his time.

Atilhan's literary contributions remain part of the Turkish cultural heritage, and his works continue to be read and studied. He was interred at Karacaahmet Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among other distinguished cultural figures of his generation.
