Biography
Chaim Abraham Gagin was a respected rabbi who served the Jewish community of Jerusalem during the nineteenth century. Born in 1787, he dedicated himself to religious scholarship and community leadership throughout his life.
Rabbi Gagin's contributions to Jewish learning and his role in community affairs were recognized through his burial at the Mount of Olives Jewish Cemetery following his death in 1848, reflecting the high regard in which he was held.
