Charles Arbuthnot

Biography

Charles Arbuthnot (1767–1850) was a distinguished British diplomat and politician who served his nation with considerable distinction throughout a long career spanning the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He held various diplomatic posts and was deeply involved in political affairs during a transformative period in British history.

Arbuthnot's contributions to both diplomacy and parliamentary life reflected the values and expertise of his era. He was respected for his service to the Crown and his engagement with the significant political questions of his time. He was laid to rest at Kensal Green Cemetery, one of London's most prominent burial grounds.
