Charles Brown

Biography

Charles Brown studied law in Philadelphia and went on to represent the Fourth District of Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives, where he was respected for his judicious approach to legislation and his commitment to the rule of law.

After returning from Congress he continued to serve his city through legal practice and civic organizations, offering measured counsel and a steady hand to the families and institutions that steered Philadelphia forward.
