Biography

Charles Case, born in 1817, pursued the study of law and soon earned a reputation for fairness among the citizens of Indiana, who valued his clear judgment and steady manners.

He brought that same dedication to service when he represented his neighbors in Congress, and after leaving public office he returned to the practice of law with an abiding respect for the Constitution.
