Charles Cassius Rogers established himself in Milwaukee's mercantile scene, leading firms that supplied the region's growing industries while also representing his neighbors in the Wisconsin legislature and advocating for responsible business practices.

He carried that civic-minded spirit beyond commerce, supporting schools and civic institutions, and upon his passing he was interred at Forest Home Cemetery where he had long been remembered for blending entrepreneurship with public service.
