Biography
Charles Duncombe, 2nd Earl of Feversham, carried the responsibilities of his title into public life as a politician, speaking for his constituents while also supporting regimental traditions close to his family.
By 1915 he had taken an active role with the Army, and when he was killed in action the following year his comrades remembered him for his calm leadership; he is buried at the AIF Burial Ground, a testament to the shared sacrifices of the Empire.
