Charles Edgar

Biography

Charles Edgar, born in 1862, was a familiar face within the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church, where he shared a welcoming spirit and steady faith with his neighbors. He supported the life of the church through thoughtful participation and a habit of listening before speaking.

When he died in 1922, those who had benefitted from his presence remembered him as a steadying influence, and his memory continues to be honored within the community and at the church he cherished.
