Biography
Charles Edwin Lowther (1859–1888) belonged to the Lowther family of Cumberland and found solace in the Church of St Michael, Lowther, where he lived with an abiding sense of duty to his heritage and to the people he met each day. Though his life was brief, he embraced the responsibilities placed before him with sincerity.
