Biography

Charles Frederic Allen (1816-1899) held fast to the values of honesty and perseverance as he guided his household through the unfolding opportunities of the nineteenth century.

His diligent work and thoughtful presence endeared him to neighbors, and he rests now at Evergreen Cemetery, where the quiet stones honor his enduring example.
