Charles Ginner (1878–1952) was a painter associated with the Camden Town Group who brought intense colour and modern life to his landscapes and urban scenes. Born in France but making Britain his home, he captured both the quiet countryside and the bustling streets with a strong sense of structure and light.
His commitment to teaching and exhibiting helped promote modern British art, and after his passing his dedication to craft was remembered at Golders Green Crematorium.
