Biography
Charles-Gustave of Sweden (1802–1805) was a member of the Swedish royal family whose brief life occurred during a period of significant dynastic and political change in Sweden. Though his years were few, his birth represented the continuation of the royal line during the early 19th century.
His memory was preserved through his burial at Riddarholm Church, the traditional resting place of Swedish royalty. Though his life was short, his place in Swedish royal history remains a part of the nation's heritage.
