Charles H. Akers

Biography

Charles H. Akers, born in 1857, dedicated much of his career to territorial administration, ensuring that elections, budgets, and records were handled with accuracy and integrity during Arizona's formative years.

Beyond his official duties he supported charitable causes and community celebrations, believing that orderly government and neighborly generosity went hand in hand; he passed in 1924 and rests at Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery as a reminder of steadfast public service.
