Biography
Charles James McDonald rose through the legal and political ranks of Georgia to serve as governor during a period of rapid expansion and change. His administration supported infrastructure improvements and efforts to bring the state’s justice system into closer alignment with the needs of its citizens, always mindful of the responsibility inherent in public office.
