Charles Joseph William of Haugwitz (1797–1874) was a distinguished composer whose musical works contributed to the cultural heritage of nineteenth-century Central Europe. His compositions reflected the artistic sensibilities and musical traditions of the Romantic era.

Haugwitz's memory is honored at the Haugwitz crypt in Náměšť nad Oslavou, where he was entombed following his death in 1874. He is remembered as a talented musician whose creative legacy endured beyond his lifetime.
