Biography

Charles L. Hutchinson devoted his talents as a banker and civic leader to advancing Chicago’s cultural life, serving for decades as president of the Art Institute of Chicago and guiding the institution’s acquisitions and exhibitions so that the city could enjoy great works of art close at hand.
