Biography

Charles Pope was a member of the British military forces who served his country during World War I. As military personnel, Pope represented the millions of soldiers who answered the call to service during the Great War, contributing to the military efforts of the British Empire across multiple theaters of conflict.

Pope's death in 1917 during the war years reflected the enormous human cost of the conflict. His burial at Moeuvres Communal Cemetery Extension marks his final resting place among the many soldiers who fell on the Western Front, preserving his memory for future generations.
