Biography

Charles Price Jones was a leading voice in the Holiness movement, combining his gifts as a minister and musician to introduce new hymns that lifted congregations in worship. Born in 1865, he helped found what became the Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. and dedicated himself to preaching a message of sanctification.

His compositions, including many joyful gospel songs, still resonate in churches that treasure their early twentieth-century heritage, and his leadership strengthened communities seeking spiritual renewal. His legacy lives on through the choirs and pastors who continue to draw on the foundation he laid.
