Charles Raymond Cronham

Biography

Charles Raymond Cronham was born in 1896 into the Seminole people, and he devoted his life to helping the community sustain its traditions while navigating the changes of the twentieth century.

He is remembered for his calm leadership, the stories and language he passed to younger relatives, and the steadfast way he represented Seminole heritage to neighbors beyond the reservation.
