Charles Richard Meade

Biography

Charles Richard Meade lived a relatively brief life during the nineteenth century, born in 1826 and passing in 1858. Though his time was limited, he was part of the generation that experienced America's continued development and expansion during the antebellum period.

Meade was interred at Green-Wood Cemetery in New York, one of the era's most prominent burial grounds. His life, though short, was lived during a period of significant American growth and change.
