Charles Schroeter

Biography

Born in 1837, Charles Schroeter answered the call to serve his adopted country with courage, sharing his talents as a soldier through the upheavals of his time. His fellow servicemen knew him for an unwavering sense of duty and a generosity of spirit that eased the hardships of army life.

After decades of honorable service, he was laid to rest with fellow veterans in Miramar National Cemetery, where visitors may reflect on the sacrifices he made for the wider good.
