Charles Thomas Kennedy (1873-1907) exemplified extraordinary courage as a military man, and even as he faced the dangers of the field he remained humble and considerate of the men beside him.
Laid to rest in North Merchiston Cemetery, he is honored not only for the bravery that earned him high commendation but also for the gentle strength he offered to family, comrades, and the wider community.
