Biography

Charles Wriothesly Digby (1802–1873) was a gentleman of the nineteenth century whose life spanned the greater part of the Victorian era. He maintained connections to Dorset throughout his life, ultimately being laid to rest in the Parish Church of Saint Nicholas at Studland.

His memory is preserved in the records of his time and in the church where he was interred, a testament to his place within his community during an era of significant social and industrial change.
