Chauncey H. Cooke

Biography

Chauncey H. Cooke was born in 1846 and spent his days in Buffalo County, where he stood as a witness to the changes of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

He departed in 1919, leaving behind the mark of a man who quietly invested in his community and treated every neighbor with respect.
