Chester Walbridge

Biography

Chester Walbridge was born in 1791 and lived through the early decades of the American republic. His life witnessed the nation's growth and development during its formative years, from the early federal period through the mid-nineteenth century.

He died in 1860 and was interred at Glenwood Cemetery. Walbridge's long life of nearly seventy years provided him with a unique perspective on the transformations that reshaped American society during his lifetime.
