Christian Rosenkrantz
1766–1817 (age 51)
Biography
Christian Rosenkrantz earned the admiration of his peers through his work as a jurist, where he reconciled precedent with mercy and guided legal minds toward principled outcomes. His counsel was sought not only in Hornslet but in wider circles that appreciated his calm, analytical approach.
He believed the law should protect both order and conscience, and Hornslet Church now rests beside the man who maintained that balance.
