Christopher Hurlburt was born in 1757 and lived through a transformative period in American history. He spent his life in the Arkport area, where he became part of the community's early development.

Hurlburt passed away in 1831 at the age of 74, leaving behind a legacy as a member of his local community. He was laid to rest at Arkport Heritage Hill Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the region's early settlers.
