Clare Louise Johnson was a gentle caregiver for her family, creating warm spaces for conversation and keeping traditions alive with thoughtful touches and an ever-present sense of humor. She found joy in everyday rituals and in thanking others for their kindnesses, making Riverside gatherings feel like safe harbors.

She also reached beyond her household to volunteer whenever there was a call, and those who knew her in the neighborhood speak of how her kindness inspired them to be more attentive to one another; she is laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
