Claude Hoin

Biography

Claude Hoin (1750–1817) was a French painter who worked during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. His artistic career unfolded during a period of significant aesthetic and political change in France, from the Enlightenment through the Napoleonic era.

Hoin's contributions to French visual arts reflected the tastes and sensibilities of his time. He was laid to rest in Péjoces Cemetery, a final resting place befitting an artist of his era and standing.
