Biography

Claude Marcel Perret was a dedicated French resistance fighter who actively opposed Nazi occupation during World War II. Born in 1911, he joined the ranks of those who worked clandestinely to undermine German forces and support the Allied cause in occupied France.

Perret's resistance efforts exemplified the courage and determination of those who fought for France's freedom. He died in 1944 at the age of 33, giving his life for his country's liberation. His memory is preserved in the Military Square of the Bourg-en-Bresse Cemetery, a fitting tribute to his patriotic sacrifice.
