Claude Treme

Biography

Claude Treme (1759–1828) was a prominent figure in New Orleans during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. His life spanned nearly seven decades of significant change and development in the city, and he was respected within his community.

Treme was laid to rest in Saint Louis Cemetery No. 2, where his legacy endures as part of the historical record of New Orleans' most distinguished residents.
