Biography

Claude Victor-Perrin, Duc de Belluno (1764–1841) was a celebrated French military commander who achieved prominence during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. His strategic brilliance and leadership earned him the title of Duke and recognition as one of France's most capable military officers.

Victor-Perrin's military career spanned several decades, during which he participated in numerous significant campaigns and demonstrated exceptional tactical skill. His contributions to French military history were substantial, and he maintained his prominence throughout the turbulent political changes of his era. He was honored with interment at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
