Biography

Clayton Valli was a poet and linguist whose creative brilliance reshaped the way American Sign Language and other sign languages were celebrated as profound vehicles for poetry.

He devoted himself to teaching, writing, and mentoring younger artists in the Deaf community, leaving a legacy of inspiration that rests now at Wildwood Cemetery.
