Cliff Carlisle (1903–1983) was a pioneering musician whose rich baritone and inventive dobro playing brought a new voice to country and folk traditions, earned through early radio work and recordings that blended heartfelt storytelling with daring sound.
He spent his life traveling to share those songs, lifting spirits with every performance, and his legacy now rests in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
