Clifford Groh embraced Alaska’s wide-open spaces with a reverence that resonated in the friendships he nurtured and the communities he helped strengthen. His calm leadership and steady optimism made him a cherished figure, whether he was sharing stories of the land he loved or rolling up his sleeves to help neighbors weather tough seasons.
He delighted in the changing light across the mountains and in the laughter of those he inspired, leaving behind memories of generous hospitality. He is buried at Anchorage Memorial Park, where his respect for the land and thoughtful kindness remain a guiding presence.
