Biography

Conrad Alexander Fabritius de Tengnagel was a merchant of considerable standing whose commercial enterprises contributed to the economic life of his community. His business dealings and mercantile activities were conducted with the professionalism expected of his station.

Tengnagel's legacy as a merchant reflects the importance of commerce during the eighteenth century. He was laid to rest at Holmen Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the merchant class he represented.
