Biography
Cornelis de Kock (1908–1944) was a Dutch politician whose public service was cut short by the tragic circumstances of World War II. He represented his community during a period of unprecedented challenge and danger, serving during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.
He lost his life in 1944 at the age of thirty-six, a casualty of the war that claimed millions across Europe. He is remembered in Oosterhesselen for his service to his community and his sacrifice during one of history's darkest periods.
