Cortlandt Parker

Biography

Cortlandt Parker, born in 1818, spent his life cultivating a sense of kindness and resolve in equal measure, offering thoughtful counsel and compassionate support to those in his circle. He cherished the bonds of family and earnestly engaged in the civic duties that came his way, always acting with honor.

In 1907 he was laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, where he is remembered as a gentle yet principled presence who enriched the lives of many.
