Biography

Cyril Metoděj Lacina was a talented association football player whose athletic career brought recognition and pride to Czech sports during the early 20th century. As a footballer, he contributed to the development of the sport in the Czech lands and represented the athletic aspirations of his generation.

Lacina's life was tragically brief, spanning only from 1895 to 1920. Despite his short time on earth, his legacy in Czech football remained significant. He was interred in the Cemetery in Židenice, where his grave commemorates his athletic achievements and his contributions to Czech sporting heritage.
