Biography

Daisy, Princess of Pless (1873–1943) was a British-born noblewoman who became a prominent figure in German aristocratic society through her marriage. Beyond her social position, she distinguished herself through her humanitarian work as a nurse, particularly during World War I when she dedicated herself to caring for the wounded and sick.

The Princess's memory is honored in the Mausoleum in Książ, the magnificent Silesian castle that became central to her life and legacy.
