Biography
Dan Kuykendall represented Tennessee in the U.S. House with integrity, bringing thoughtful debate and a commitment to serving the constituents of his district during his many years in Washington. He championed sensible solutions and was respected both for his sharp intellect and for the courtesy with which he listened to differing viewpoints.
After leaving Congress he remained an engaged presence in his community, offering mentorship and sharing the insights he had gained, and he rests now at Kuykendall Cemetery.
