Biography
Daniel Mowry, Jr. upheld his family's Rhode Island traditions by working the farm, serving on local committees, and supporting the militia and civil leaders who kept Providence County steady during turbulent times.
After the war he continued to administer justice as a local magistrate, encouraged neighbors in agricultural improvement, and kept the Mowry Family Cemetery grounds as a place of reverence for future generations.
