Biography
Daniel Udree, born in 1751, answered the call of liberty as a militiaman in the Revolution and later represented Pennsylvania in the United States Congress, where he advocated for veterans and farmers alike.
He returned to Oley to continue farming, offering counsel on local matters and remaining a steady presence for friends and neighbors until his passing and burial at Oley Cemetery.
