Darwin Austen Branch was born in 1832 and lived during the mid-nineteenth century, a time of profound change and challenge in America. Though his life was brief, spanning only 26 years, he was part of a generation that would shape the nation's future.

Branch passed away in 1858 and was interred at Oaklawn Cemetery. His memory is preserved among those who came of age during one of America's most transformative periods.
