Biography

David Folsom (1791–1847) spent his years amid the wide skies of the American frontier, building and safeguarding his household with a deep sense of duty. He carried himself with reserved strength and helped nurture the neighborhood bonds that allowed frontier settlements to flourish.

He now rests at Fort Towson Cemetery, where visitors pause among the headstones to honor the resilience of those who shaped the early West.
