Biography
David Giddings was born in 1806 and became one of the early entrepreneurs of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, investing in mills and advocating for better roads and canals while also serving in the territorial legislature.
He remained a steady presence in civic affairs, lending counsel to new settlers and supporting churches and schools, and he rests at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery, remembered for helping transform the area from wilderness to a thriving town.
